Mobile Settings for Banner Images
Supported Versions: The details shared in this article apply to the Slideshow, Image with Text Overlay, and Video sections in the updated version of eComm Performance.
The release of eComm Performance V6.2.0 has introduced new mobile-specific settings for banner images in the Slideshow, Image with Text Overlay, and Video sections. There are more settings for these sections which include options for text position, text color, and image cropping.
Slideshow Section
Viewing on a mobile device allows the Slideshow section to either have the text/button displaying on the top of the image or to have the banner image stacked vertically at the top and the text and buttons displayed underneath. This all depends on your 'mobile settings.'
Show Text Below the Image
The default setting is the text and buttons displaying below the banner image on mobile. You have the option to display them on top of the banner image, by disabling the 'show text below image' setting.
Text
There can be a specific color for the text on mobile, you have the option to choose.
Image Cropping
This setting option is within the content block settings in each Slide. This section displays the entire banner image on a mobile device without any cropping/zooming which typically results in a narrow banner. There is the ability to enable 'image cropping' which will crop and zoom in on the image how you would like (left, center, right).
Image with Text Overlay section
When being viewed on a mobile device, the Image with Text Overlay section can be displayed with the banner image displayed at the top and the text and buttons displayed underneath or with the text/button being displayed on top of the image.
Image Cropping
By default, the section displays the entire banner image on mobile without any cropping/zooming which typically results in a narrow banner. If you'd like to allow a greater display area on mobile, you can enable 'image cropping' which will crop and zoom in on the image (left, center, right).
Show Text Below Image
By default, the text and buttons will display below the banner image on mobile. If you'd like the text to display on top of the banner image, you can disable the 'show text below image' setting.
Text
You have the option to choose a specific color for the text on mobile.
Video Section
When viewing the Video section on a mobile device, there are a couple of ways that it can be displayed. First is the section can be stacked vertically with the banner image displaying at the top and the text and buttons displayed underneath. The second is with the text/button displaying on top of the image. This all depends on your 'mobile' settings.
To play the video, all you have to do is click on it and that will open a full-screen that the customer can then click 'X' to get back to the homepage.
Show Text Below Image
The default setting is to display the text and buttons below the video/image on mobile. You can change this to display the text on top of the image. All you have to do is disable the 'show text below image' setting.

You have the option to choose a specific color for the text on mobile.
