Rich Text and Image Section on the eComm Performance Theme

Using Rich Text and Image

The eComm Performance theme includes a 'Rich Text and Image' section that allows you to add a content block to your homepage, which you can use in various ways. The 'Rich Text and Image' section includes an image, heading, text, and a button. All of these are optional. You can add every field, a couple of them, or one! 

The 'Rich Text and Image' section gives you the ability to add informative text. This could include an introductory and a couple 'about us' paragraphs to talk about your company or share exciting announcements. You can also highlight a product. To do this, add one main image, then talk about the product features and benefits, and make sure to include a link to the product page.

If you want to include the Rich Text and Image section, go into Customize (your Theme Editor) > Sections > Add Sections > Rich text and Image.

The section setting lets you decide how you want this particular section to look and its layout.

Image

The 'Rich Text and Image' section allows you to upload an image. This will be displayed above any text:

Heading/Text

The 'Rich Text and Image' section also gives you the option to upload a 'heading' and 'text.' If you have included an image, it will show above the 'heading' and 'text.' When you are working in the 'text' area, you have the option to bold, italicize, or link the text:

Text Size

When you are deciding on the text size, you can choose from either 'regular' or 'large':

Text Alignment

If you have added any text to this section, you can choose to align it either to the left or center:

The 'Rich Text and Image' section has the option to enable a 'button label' and 'button link.' You can enter any text in the 'label' area and add either an internal or external link in the 'link' area:

Mobile Layout

If a user views your page on a mobile device, the 'Rich Text and Image' section will adjust to fit whichever screen they are viewing on.
