SSD V2.0 Predictive Search Functionality

SSD V2.0 includes a Predictive Search function. This allows search inquires to auto-complete as a customer types them in a similar vein to Google

Enabling Search on your Store

There are two places that you can enable Predictive Search in your SSD Theme:
To turn one Predictive Header Search, go to Online Store > Customize (purple button) > Sections > Header > Search > "Enable search"

Search as a Section Block

Adding a predictive search block on your home page will require you to go to Online Store > Customize (purple button) > Sections > Add Section > Content > Search

Locating the Search Settings

Search functionality settings can be found under Online Store > Customize (purple button) > Theme Settings > Search. The theme will provide you with the option to either use standard search or the new predictive search capabilities as well as to control the number of predictive terms to display. 











Enabling the predictive search will enable the functionality for both the Search bar in your header and the Search block on the home page (if applicable)
